Also included is a builders guide with suggestions to aid with construction. All plans include 8 hours of free consultation and supplemental drawings or 3D model information at our discretion.
Rossi Engineering has prepared a preliminary design to meet the International 5.5 Metre Rating Rule. A hard chine hull shape has been drafted to fit within the rule allowances and permit transport without restrictions on all (US and European) roadways. To provide owners with some design options different keel configurations and rudder variations will be available. Additionally, the cockpit layout can be tailored to improve crew efficiency. Initial construction specifications for the hull and deck panels are composite foam and glass or plywood for a lower cost construction alternative. To provide optimum performance the spars are planned to be made from carbon.
